Two final shows in the state of Alaska! I had a wonderful time living and performing here in Anchorage, but it's getting close to the time for me to hit the road. A big thanks to all the wonderful folks who have helped to make my time here in Alaska so wonderful.
If you want to catch a performance before I go I'll be performing excerpts from my show at the New Dances Now Choreography Showcase in Homer, AK February 4th at the Mariner Theatre.
I will also be having a tour kick off party and fundraiser at Anchorage Community Works on March 25th. Opening for my show will be a variety show featuring many of the talented performers I've had the pleasure of meeting here in Anchorage. Medium Build, one of my favorite Anchorage musicians, will be playing a set to finish out the evening.
I've been working on developing shadow puppet workshops to take on tour. Today was the first run of shadow puppets and shadow boxes at the Anchorage Museum. The workshop was paired with the University of North Carolina's planetarium show "The Longest Night."
Next weekend, Saturday November 19th, Ariel will be sharing the stage with Anchorage's Fiona Rose. Come enjoy an evening of acrobatics and multi-instrumentalism!
